Podiums for Leroux, Orton and Ramsay as the R300's and Roadsports visit Anglesey for the first time.
Superlight R300
After torrential rain on the Friday afternoon, Saturday was bright and warm for the R300 qualifying session. James suffered from a lack of time at the circuit and was well down the field, but Jonny Leroux was a strong third with Simon Martyn closing the gap at the rear. Race 1 saw Jonny Leroux get away well and he held 2nd for the whole race, keeping pressure on the leader, but never quite able to find a way past. James fought back to 6th, but championship leader Draper suffered engine and gearbox dramas leading to a DNF. Race 2, and Jonny got caught up in a fierce battle for 2nd which he ultimately lost after a knock to the front of the car put the geometry out. James' main championship rival suffered more drama after a wheel came loose, and Simon had his best race to date - a fierce scrap with multiple Caterham Champion Clive Richards. A frustrating weekend without wins, but we came away with leads in both the Team and Drivers Championship.

Roadsport A
32 cars set out for the qualifying session, and it was Jonathan Ramsay who was quickest, right up until the final lap when he was pipped and dropped back to 2nd. Adam was 8th, Jamie 11th and Simon 30th. Race 1 was red-flagged after a first corner accident, but the restart had Jonathan embroiled in a battle for 2nd, letting the eventual winner away while he slipped back to 3rd by the finish. Adam 5th and Jamie 6th gave the team a healthy points tally, while Simon had a great dice on his way to 22nd. Race 2 saw Jonathan make a poor start, and as he battled back up through the field a spin and resulting contact ruled him out. This left it to Jamie and Adam to uphold team honour, and despite contact into the hairpin, Jamie brought it home 3rd, just ahead of Adam in 4th.
