A tough weekend for the team, in what was a very busy day.
Superlight R300
A qualifying session shared with the R400 grid saw James take 3rd ahead of guest driver Paul O'Neil and an R400, with Jonny less than a second behind in 5th at a circuit he admits to being uncomfortable with. Race 1 brought disaster for both cars - James retired from the lead battle after his exhaust failed, while Jonny was hit from behind but still managed to finish. Race 2 needed a big recovery with both cars starting at the back of the grid, and after a great scrap at the front Jonny took 3rd and his first podium, with James following him home in 4th.

39 cars took to the track for qualifying, and only Roelant de Waard pinching pole at the last gasp stopped it from being a Fauldsport 1-2-3. Jamie Orton ended up 2nd, with JJ O'Malley and Adam Ferenczi right behind him. Jonathan was dissapointed to only be 16th at his home track, and Simon was 30th. The three race format dictated by the large grid meant Race 1 saw Jamie start in 2nd, Adam 3rd and Jonathan back in 11th and a chaotic race ensued. Jamie span mid-race and was collected,a nd the resulting damage to his supension meant he could only limp round for a finish while Jonathan had a fantastic drive to pip Adam to 3rd spot and his first podium. Race 2 saw Jamie and JJ start on the front row and Simon back in 20th. JJ was taken out of contention by a frightening move coming out of Druids and was lucky to escape with minor damage, Jamie had another difficult race and ended up 9th while Simon's 22nd didn't do the great scrap he had justice, but a late spin saw him drop back. Race 3 and Adam, JJ, Jonathan and Simon were all back in action. An unfortunate incident early on took JJ and Adam out of the running, but Jonathan had another storming race to 3rd place, and Simon had a personal best with 17th after some great battles.

Roadsport B
Trevors day started with a business-like pole, but a missed gear on the run to the line in Race 1 meant a dissapointing 2nd, and a very unusual spin in race 2 saw him off the podium in 4th - a career 1st. He maintains his championship lead though, and will be back stronger than ever at Donington in a couple of weeks.
